“My experience With Buchanan Pump Service:

We had a pump station that had one vertical turbine pump that had completely failed and another that was running on a hope and prayer. Had a competitor of Buchanan rebuild the failed pump and install it, they machined drive pins for the motor coupling that did not fit and were not needed and charged us extra for them. The pump performed poorly and completely destroyed the bushing in the stuffing box and also blew the packing out in just a couple of days. Had Buchanan come and check the pump and as soon as the tech stepped in the building, he saw that the pumps were not plum and level causing excessive wear in the pumps. Buchanan pump Service was able to come up with a plan to make repairs in a timely manner without disruption to our operations.
